Upward Basketball

Thanks for your interest in our Upward program. We are moving toward our 8th season beginning October of 2010. We will distribute brochures for the upcoming season to the Oconee schools and plan to send mailers throughout the Gratis and Midway areas. Be on the lookout for these in September.

Cost is $65 per child for basketball; after Oct. 20th, the cost is $75. Scholarships are available.

Basketball shorts are included in the registration cost.

League Schedule: Practices begin the week of Monday, Dec. 6; Games are on Saturdays beginning Jan. 8 with a final Awards Celebration on the first Saturday in March (3/5/2011).

Upward promotes character and fun for every child by:
(1) Establishing a one-hour practice and game each week
(2) Implementing a substitution system for each team, allowing every child equal playing time
(3) Creating the opportunity for every child to learn and improve their skills in the sport
